Privacy Policy

Mountain Landscapers, LLC ("we", "us", "our") runs this website to tell people about our landscaping work and to let them ask us for a quote. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what you type into our contact form, we use it to get back to you about your project, and we do not sell it.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you enter — typically your name, phone number, email address, and a description of your project. If you call or email us instead, we keep that conversation and your contact details so we can follow up.
We only ask for what we need to quote and schedule work. You are never required to give us information to browse the site.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server logs — your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time. These logs exist for security and troubleshooting.
We use privacy-friendly page analytics from our web host to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not follow you to other websites. Our fonts and images are served from our own domain.
The one exception is our contact form, which is provided by our customer relationship system (Coraline, built on HighLevel). The form loads inside a frame from app.saltservicesusa.mtnlandscapers.com when you scroll down to it or open it, and at that point that system receives your IP address and may set its own cookies so the form works and submissions are not duplicated. If you never reach the form, it never loads. You can always skip it and call or email us instead.
Advertising and how we measure it
We advertise this business on Google and on Meta’s platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To know which ads actually produce work — instead of guessing — those platforms place measurement tags on this site.
- Google Ads tag. Google may set cookies to record that you arrived from one of our ads and later contacted us, and to show you our ads again on other sites, on YouTube, and in search results. This is commonly called remarketing.
- Meta pixel. Meta may set cookies and receive a record of your visit so we can measure which Facebook or Instagram ads led to an inquiry, and so we can show our ads to people who have visited this site.
- Our own attribution cookie. When you arrive from an ad, the link carries a click identifier. We store that identifier, plus the campaign it came from, in a first-party cookie named ml_attr that lasts 90 days, and we attach it to your form submission. It tells us which ad brought you here. It contains no name, email, phone number or address — only the advertising platform’s own click identifier.
These tags mean Google and Meta receive your IP address and information about your visit, subject to their own privacy policies. We do not send them your name, email address or phone number from this website. We do not sell this information, and we do not use it for anything other than measuring and improving our own advertising.
You can limit this. Google’s ad settings are at myadcenter.google.com and Meta’s at accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies, and browser settings such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control can be used to signal your preference. Blocking these cookies does not stop you using this site, reaching the form, or calling us.
SMS and text messaging
If you give us your mobile number and check the consent box on our form, we may text you about your quote, your appointment, or your project.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not stop us from calling or emailing you about work you have asked us to do.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only with:
- The companies that run our software — Coraline, our customer relationship system (which receives form submissions and sends our texts and emails), and our web host. They process this information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
- Google and Meta, which receive visit information through the advertising tags described above so we can measure and target our own ads. They do not receive your name, email address or phone number from this website.
- Our own crew and office staff, so we can quote, schedule and complete your work.
- Anyone we are legally required to share it with — a court order, a subpoena, or a law enforcement request we are obligated to honor.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we have an active or prospective relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, warranty and record-keeping purposes.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we take it seriously and we limit who can see your information.
Children
This site is meant for adults hiring a landscaping company. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us at (865) 280-4642 and we will delete it.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can tell us to stop texting, stop emailing, or stop contacting you entirely. We honor these requests regardless of which state you live in.
Just call (865) 280-4642 or email mtnlandscapers@mtnlandscapers.com and tell us what you want done. We will confirm once it is handled.
Links to other sites
This site links to our social media profiles, our client portal, and a few partner companies. Once you follow a link off mtnlandscapers.com, that company’s privacy policy applies, not ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information — for example if we add analytics or start running ads — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
